The Death of a Friend

Recently, a close, close friend of mine left forever. This is my little contribution to what was, and what could have been, but never will be. Inadequate, but we fallible humans can but try -

The wonderful years go past,
Flashing by your teary eyes,
And you sob while remembering,
Your last goodbyes.

Your friend is gone,
And gone with her are,
The memories of jokes made,
Riding around in your car,

It is the death of a friend,
A part of you is gone,
No more late-night calls,
No shoulder to cry on.

Now it is even too hard to think of,
The happy times that were there,
The silly pranks, and those scandals,
The putting of gum in her hair.

The heart-makes, the heart-breaks shared,
With her in your confidence,
Now she has left to her new home,
And left you to do your penance.

It is the death of a friend,
And part of you has left,
Left for ever, can you imagine?
How to carry on so bereft?

its strange that i have not seen a person died till now or have lost any dear one but there are times i tremble with feeling of loosing anybody among them .

Did't want to spoil ur sadness ,if it was there for it should be ur part ( though, not in a permanent manner )for things needed to be lived thorougly to reach climax.

great love
