Twinkle Twinkle Little Star

Twinkle Twinkle little star,
How I wonder who you are,
Were you a knight journeying wide,
Or a sailor on the evening tide,
Did you you errand complete,
All with victory replete,
Did you rescue the princess fair,
The one with the moss-golden hair,
Did she fight your intent then,
Waiting for wealthier men,
Did she snort and sneer and snoot,
And deride you for a hair-brained coot
Were you implacable still,
Of sound mind and iron will,
Did you wrest your sould from loss,
Shunting aside Gloom's gloss...

Twinkle Twinkle little star,
How I wonder who you are,
Are you all that remains now,
Of that brave soul's brow,
Who set out to the impossible do,
And confound it! succeeded too,
In going against the world all,
Showing his cheek with all that gall
Upsetting the customs worldwide,
And ne'er taking it on his hide,
Ignoring the laws - upholding own will,
Asking questions after the kill,
Wandering, rambling, ambling, gambling,
Mangling, dangling, shambling, dabbling,
Taking 'em up on every dare,
Walking on ice with nary a care..

Twinkle Twinkle little star,
How I wonder who you are,
Are you the spirit of an old man,
Killed under an astronomer's ban,
Do you over mankind watch yet,
Part of some cosmic bet,
Daring us to prove you right,
Keeping vigil throughout the night,
Catching the eye of every young 'un,
Whispering to the moon for some quiet fun,
Parrying jokes while we sleep,
Locked away in Morpheus's keep,
Do you laugh when we digress,
And hurry-burry to clean the mess,
All the while smirking faintly,
All the while glowing daint'ly...

Twinkle Twinkle little star,
How I wonder who you are,
On second thought I wonder not,
You can just go on and rot,
I'll still sleep my way tonight,
Even if you burn sun-bright,
Nary a differnce does it make,
So go ahead for you own sake,
Glow, shine, burn and stay,
Or fade, whimper and pass away,
As big as a world you might be,
But distant is your enormity,
My insignificance is here and now,
So shine and burn, but bow!
I am a man! A man of Earth,
We face stellar spectators with mirth.

Also, the article written by you on Rahul's blog is really awesome. Seems as if words flow straight away from your heart.
